. Until spring 2011, the station was accessible by two elevators, stairs, and a ramp on Scott Avenue. In March 2011, the station was temporarily closed to permit the demolition of the Grand Boulevard viaduct and the station's own elevator towers and stairs. A temporary station is being employed while the bridge is replaced in an 18-24 month construction project. The project will ultimately include the construction of a new MetroLink station, as well.
