Governor Mifflin Senior High School replaced Shillington High School in 1953. The Shillington High School building became the Governor Mifflin Junior High School. Governor Mifflin's mascot and logo is a mustang, and Governor Mifflin competes at the AAAA level in the PIAA categories.
