The GFEI has been superseded by the McGovern-Dole International School Feeding and Child Nutrition Program (IFEP), established by the 2002 farm bill (P.L. 107-171, Sec. 3107). By decision of the President, the McGovern-Dole Program was to be administered by USDA.
