GAM Holding comprises the distinct but complementary businesses GAM and Swiss & Global Asset Management, both dedicated to delivering superior long-term performance for clients through active asset management and a focus on quality. GAM Holding offers a diversified range of investment products and services to institutions, intermediaries, private clients, and charities.

In 2011, GAM Holding launched a new fund that focuses on South Asia. The firm call it "the new powerhouse for Asia".
