As the Union Station sat empty after it was no longer in service as a train station, the owner used part of the facility for a family manufacturing business but saw a need to renovate the main areas. Over time the facility was rented out for formal events but eventually the need and opportunity presented itself to build-out the facility into a state of the art data storage facility built to bring South Bend, Indiana
