Glass Mountain is a peer-reviewed
undergraduate literary journal
at the University of Houston
that was established in 2006. The title is an allusion to a short story with the same title by Donald Barthelme
. The journal is one of few that publishes poetry, fiction, non-fiction and art from a pool of undergraduate applicants nationwide. Each edition has also included interviews with notable literary figures, including Mat Johnson

, among others. The publication is listed in the Council of Literary Magazines and Presses
(CLMP) and launched its first national issue in 2011.
