after they were relegated to Fußball-Bayernliga. In 2002 they were promoted back to the Fußball-Regionalliga and he left to join the now inactive football team Bonner SC
. He was in Bonn until September 2003 when he joined then Fußball-Bayernliga side SpVgg Bayreuth

In 2006, Lettieri signed a contract with SV Darmstadt 98
, he was there until the second half of the 2006/2007 season when Wacker Burghausen appointed him as their manager, but in July he was sacked following the clubs relegation. 6 months later he was appointed manager of Regionalliga Süd
team SpVgg Weiden.
On the 9th February 2010, Gino Lettieri joined SV Wehen Wiesbaden of the 3rd Liga
. His first 3 matches in charge were all losses, but they managed to avoid relegation by 8 points. After a good start to the season, Lettieri signed a new contract keeping him at the club until 30 June 2013
