. He progressed into the technical aspect, and he founded the 'Magna Studio Sound', an important rehearsal studio in Catania, where David Grabs prepared a performance for a show held at the Istituto d'Arte in Catania.

In 1995 he began a sound engineer course at Centro Professione Musica (CPM), while working as a sound engineer touring Sicily in support of several international artists, including Tom Harrell

 in 2007 specialising in Commercial Music, whilst setting up his own record label DRKL rec. which will release the forthcoming tracks on "The future Sound of Sicily", a production made with the jaw harp, an old musical instrument traditionally used in folkloric Sicilian music,. The jaw harp or marranzano here is used as a sort of pure analog synth emulation, which explain the name "The Future Sound of Sicily". During 2007, he has been also working for Dented Records (Foreign Beggars).
Gigi is also producing music for media and short movies.
