George S. Weed

Judge George Standish Weed (1862 - January 18, 1919) was the acting Warden of Sing Sing in 1914.
He was a member of the assembly from Clinton County, New York
in 1887 and 1888 and was a Clinton County, New York
judge in 1889-1890. He became collector of the port of Lake Champlain
under President Cleveland from 1895 to 1898; and served as Deputy New York State Superintendent of Prisons under Judge John B. Riley.
He died on January 18, 1919 in Washington, DC.
