Quotes

He’ll help teach the art of taking the ball off the net and impart an appreciation for the history of this game. He epitomizes Arena Football.1

-Tim Marcum, Head Coach- Tampa Bay Storm1

He is like the goodwill ambassador of the Arena Football League.

-Gene Nudo, GM & Head Coach- Arizona Rattlers1

I pattern my game after LaFrance and name him as one of the “forefathers” of the league. He knows the field, the dimensions, the defenses, and how to run routes against zone or man coverage. You don’t stick around this long unless you know what you are doing. But when the game is on the line, I would rather go to him than anybody else.

-Hunkie Cooper, Arizona Rattlers 1992-2005, 2006 Offensive Coordinator- AFL Utah Blaze1

In honor of the Arena Football League's 20th Season, George LaFrance have been selected to serve on the AFL's 20th Season Historical Committee due to his dedication, tenure, knowledge and love of the AFL, its players, coaches, staff and fans.

-C. David Baker, Commissioner AFL1
