Created in 1995, the current edition of this multiday race, The George Archer 6 day race, was formerly known as the Toyota Dealers circuit race and is the only such event held in the Southern hemisphere with the Cliff Young/Colac event being discontinued at this time.
In 2010 a 10 day event is planned, the Trevor Forsythe Memorial 10 Day Circuit Race as well as the six day.
In addition a 5 day race and a 48 hour race is also being held. The 5 day race is billed as "easy", with a minimum distance of 201km. The 48 hour race has the same minimum distance of 201km.
