 had previously participated in two songs earlier in the year, Lies was the official debut single released by the group. It was released on July 27, 2009, after several delays and image changes caused by former members Lee Jiae and Yang Jiwon leaving shortly before the group had originally planned to debut. The song reached moderate success, charting in the top five on various music charts. Although the single never reached the #1 position, it managed to hold its high position in the charts until September 2009 when the group released their next single "TTL (Time to Love)
