Geoff Brand

Geoff Brand is a former association football player who represented New Zealand at international level.

Originally from Cambridgeshire he joined the Metropolitan Police Cadets in London on 3 May 1963. He later left London and joined the police in New Zealand until retirement in June 2001 at the rank of Inspector having served at Wellington, National H/Q's, Taumarunui, Tauranga, Auckland Central and South Auckland.

 on 24 March 1973 in the 1974 World Cup Qualifying Series in Australia. He was regarded as one of the best exponents of the central strikers role in the 4.4.3 system of play of that era.
