, coming on as a substitute in both the 1981 and 1982 Finals and their replays. In his first season with Norwich, the team won the second division championship. Brooke missed out on a medal, however, as he had not played the 13 games required. In 1983, while still a Tottenham player, Brooke nearly lost his life in a serious car accident.
