 and lists a set of rights gamers should have. The rights are designed to improve the relationship between gamers and game companies by making games easier to use, likely to increase sales. The concept is similar to a marketing approach created by the blog Techdirt that they refer to as CwF+RtB which refers to connecting to your fans and then providing a reason to buy. Here the connection is to create a pleasant environment within which to use the games which also gives a solid reason to buy the games of the companies that make these games over games made by other companies. They also hope to make it easy for gamers to buy games through multiple streams and get replacement digital copies if the original is lost or damaged, which they hope will help create an environment in which gamers are more willing to purchase games which would help end their war on copyright infringement.
