Galaxy Television channel 53 was not only the first privately registered television station in Nigeria, but also the first one to broadcast.

to ensure full coverage of the Western States.

Currently, Galaxy TV Lagos has maintained a number one rating among thirteen stations in Lagos. Galaxy Lagos presently covers the Lagos metropolis, lkorodu, Epe, Shagamu, Ijebu Ode Abeokuta, etc.

Website

Galaxy TV Online was launched in Summer 2009. Since then they have gradually built and online presence. And this presence is still growing in different parts of the world. The website recently did an update to site design at the end of September 2010.

This release launched their video platform which serves news, music, soaps, etc. They are currently in the working of implementing LIVE streaming to allow their users to view live broadcasting on the website.
