GoAdv The GoAdv Group is Europe’s 4th fastest growing larger digital media company (GP Bullhound Media Momentum 2010). It is European leader in the creation of multilingual content on demand. Created in 2004 the Group crowdsources, distributes and monetizes over 15,000 items of multilingual content per month for a wide network of 500+ fully owned and operated websites including Excite Europe, Better Deals and the Nanopublishing network. The media properties generate over 20 million unique monthly users (Source: Comscore Jan 2010).

GoAdv is a pan-European company and has a staff of over 140 working across offices in Italy, Ireland, and Asia, active in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, US, Australia, Russia and Brazil.

July 2004 - Company Creation: GoAdv S.r.l. in Rome

Excite was one of the most recognized internet brands during the 1990s and one of the most well known dotcoms during the era with a worldwide network of internet portals. . On October 17, 2007, the GoAdv Group announced the completion of its acquisition of Excite Europe.

Since the acquisition the Group's focus has been to transform the sites into entertainment portals with a unique editorial style and content produced by the an in house editorial team rather than third party content partners, as it had been previously. In September 2008 the Excite Europe network registered 12.7 million unique users.

Nanopublishing
A network of over 60 vertical magazines with a highly active community covering local events and specialist topics including fashion, travel and entertainment. Acquired in June 2009, articles are written by passionate, expert professionals who are local to their topic area and are regularly updated according to what web users are searching for. 1.4 million unique visitors (Jan 2010) and growing.

Blogosfere
Italy’s top professional blog network, with over 3 million unique monthly users. Blogosfere’s network includes over 210 blogs written by recognised experts on topics ranging from entertainment, politics, sport, culture, news and finance.

GoAdv's Tools

GoAdv builds social engines that give users the tools to aggregate, organise and bookmark their most relevant content. The tools include:

Koego - a social content and web analytics tool for social media, indexing an increasing number of blogs, Twitter and Facebook accounts and giving users an Ego score that raises the visibility of the best social content produced.
Bookmarky - a social bookmarking tool enabling users to organise and share their favourite online content.

Founders

Luca Ascani (Co-Founder & Chairman ) �A young entrepreneur, Luca launched buycentral.it in 2000. The company was sold to Lycos in 2004. In 2002, Luca launched ADVance which became one of the top web agencies in Italy. Luca was also co-founder and shareholder of First Tuesday Italy, which organised seminars and meetings on Financial and Net Economy topics.
Salvatore Esposito (Co-Founder & CEO) �Gained his Degree in Business & Finance in 1999. Salvatore started his career as an internet consultant for small & medium enterprises within a project financed by the IBM Italia Foundation. He then held various directorial roles in Internet marketing and advertising with BuyCentral, LookSmart and Altavista. After his experience as Managing Director of Web Agency ADVance, he Co-Founded GoAdv.

Publicly listed company

GoAdv is a public company listed on the Alternext stock exchange of Nyse Euronext Paris since August 1, 2007.
The company was floated though a direct trading procedure reserved to qualified investors.
