, in the main Italian food industrial district. It was established in 1979, when Mr. Ermanno Morini together with a group of technical experts on the bottling sector formed the company, which started its activity manufacturing rinsers and conveyors for glass and plastic containers.

Over a period of a few years, Procomac developed its technology and enlarged its production program in order to cover, with its machines portfolio, all the phases of the production line for beverage bottling: process, container treatment, filling and secondary packaging. Procomac has been supplying complete filling lines since 1989 and in 1993 Procomac designs and installs the first aseptic filling line for bottling ice tea in PET containers.

During the ’90 more companies join the group with the purpose of reaching not only the Beverage sector but also the Food and the Dairy market.

In the latest years, as PET bottles grew in popularity against glass and paper containers, Procomac specializes its production and now it designs and manufactures bottling and packaging lines (for juices, teas, isotonics, soft drinks, dairy products and water) mostly for PET containers.

Based on the number of lines sold, GEA Procomac today is among the top suppliers of aseptic bottling lines worldwide.
GEA Procomac received a letter of non-objection (LNO) from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
