1999–2006

G@mers was first broadcast on cable and satellite channel Rapture TV

 in 1999. Initially, the show (then titled just "Gamers" without the @) was presented by Cuttle and Humphrey. The show was later sold to ITV

, coinciding with Rapture's financial problems at the time, and ended when the channel went off-the-air (temporarily) in 2001. At this point Humphrey left. On their third relaunch in 2005, the show was resumed, back on Rapture, with Heavenor replacing Humphrey as presenter.

The show covered console and handheld gaming, PC gaming and retro console systems, with the majority of time devoted to game reviews, which are rated by both presenters.

After 54 concurrent episodes, the programme, alongside Rapture TV's other production That Film Show- ceased production, owing to the station moving location and later closing.

2010 Revival

In July 2010, Rapture TV announced that G@mers would return on Information TV

 and Showcase TV as a weekly 15 minute programme, again hosted by Matt Cuttle. The new series, titled "G@mers Bytesize", began on 3rd July 2010 and features gaming reviews, previews and competitions.
