History

 proposed to resolve the Gentoo Foundation problems. But he had left the project in 2004, and his offer was refused. The Funtoo project was born as an initiative to implement his vision, with aims to share innovations.

Also, when something major happens, the Funtoo project leader will announce in advance the users for any migration or anything that may require a specific procedure.
