Funkoars' debut album, Who's Your Step Daddy
, was released by Peepshow Entertainment in 2003.
This was followed by The Greatest Hits in 2006. The production is mostly handled by Sesta and Trials who have gone on to receive exposure producing for the Hilltop Hoods
. Guest appearances on the latter album include Hilltop Hoods ("What I Want"), Vents ("The Symphony") and Pegz ("Meet The Family"). Following the release of the album, Funkoars went on a national tour between July and August 2006.
In 2008, Funkoars left Obese Records
, and on 29 November, released their third album, The Hangover, under the Peepshow label. The first single from this album, "Black Sally", extensively samples New Zealand
