The club was formed in 2004 and was initially called Nelson Yoshimura Clube de Futebol, after the former Japanese star of Brazilian birth who had died the previous year. In 2008 it became associated with the MyFC movement of fan ownership and renamed itself accordingly.

The first representative of Fujieda in the national leagues was Fujieda Municipal Wisteria, the city hall's club, which competed in the Japan Soccer League

 Division 2 in 1988. In 1991 the club belonging to local security company Chuo Bohan followed, staying in the Japan Football League until 1994 when it packed up and moved to Kyushu, becoming today's Avispa Fukuoka

In 2009, the team was briefly managed by Kunishige Kamamoto

In 2010, they absorbed former Shizuoka F.C. of the Tokai Football League Division 1 and became Shizuoka Fujieda MyFC, although most matches are played in Fujieda. (Fujieda borders Shizuoka city
