. Liberty opened on August 14, 2006 in what is now Fowler Middle School. The following school year is when Liberty opened in its current building on Rolater Road.

The Liberty Legacy

The Liberty Legacy is the yearbook of Liberty High School. Over the years, the book have been recognized by the Taylor Publisher "Yearbook Yearbook", a compilation of the best yearbooks from any particular year. These books, as well as senior ads, can be purchased on-line and in school in room C-147. Go to site to order the yearbook directly on-line. RHTV

Through the RHTV broadcasts, the students of Broadcast II, III, and IV classes are able to deliver what is going on around the school - as well as the city of Frisco, the state of Texas and the United States - to anyone who wishes to watch. This year they plan to compete in numerous contests as they deliver the news of Liberty High School. You can find their broadcasts here.

Liberty's distinguished Debate team has won many titles across Texas for its excellence in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Policy (CX) Debate, and Informative & Persuasive Extemporaneous Speaking. Members have been given the titles of UIL District Champions & Qualifiers, UIL Regional Champions & Qualifiers, and even UIL State Qualifiers & Placers. Academic Decathlon

Ever since opening in 2006, Liberty has consistently excelled at Academic Decathlon. Their record at regional competitions is currently unblemished, consistently coming in first. At state, for the years of 06-07 and 07-08, the team won second place in the 3A division. In the 08-09 year, Liberty took home the state championship in the 4A division.
