Since the start in 2001, Flanders' DRIVE, the innovation platform for the vehicle industry, has become the competence pool for the vehicle industry.

It plays an active role in:
  • Stimulating innovation and collaboration between companies in the vehicle industry
  • Initiating research projects and managing them together with our partner companies
  • In-house R&D projects
  • International activities and collaborations


Flanders’ DRIVE develops three main streams of activities:
  • Knowledge transfer through a comprehensive network
  • Innovative research in 4 principal domains
  • Engineering and testing services in its sophisticated and well equipped laboratory
