Vanderpool has won five professional titles; the Canadian Professional Boxing Federation title, the World Boxing Federation Intercontinental title, the World Boxing Council Welterweight Fecarbox title, the World Boxing Federation Superwelterweight World title, and the World Boxing Council Superwelterweight Fecarbox title.

In 2008 he was inducted into the Waterloo county hall of fame.

Vanderpool currently runs a boxing gym out of Kitchener, Ontario.
