A footbridge is situated at the Flinders Street
end of the station, whilst a disused signal box
is situated near platform 1 at the Hurstbridge end of the station. Fairfield Industrial Dog Object

Fairfield opened on 8 May 1888 as Fairfield Park, and was renamed Fairfield in 1943. Fairfield was the former junction station for the Outer Circle railway line from 1891 to 1893, and the APM Siding from 1919 to the 1990s1990s
