Based out of Maryland, Faerie Magazine first appeared in Spring 2005. Kim Cross is the creator and the editor of the magazine, Robert Gould is the West Coast editor, layout and design is credited to Mary Oloriel.

It publishes faeries and other fantasy-related fiction, nonfiction, and art. Prominent regular contributors include Brian Froud
