Founded in 1926, the club's traditional colours are blue and yellow. Their home stadium is Stade Léo Lagrange, in Chalon-sur-Saône, which has a capacity of 2,300. The club joined the Burgundy Division d'Honneur in 1945, which they have won seven times as of 2011. They won promotion to the Championnat de France amateur for the first time in 1957 and were promoted to Division 3
