Eucalyptus nicholii, Narrow-Leaved Black Peppermint, Willow Peppermint is a small to medium sized tree with persistent, rough bark to small branches. The bark is fibrous, coarsely fissured longitudinally, yellowish-brown to grey-brown with red-brown underlayers.

Adult leaves are stalked, narrow-lanceolate, to 13-12 cm long, 1 cm wide, concolorous and dull, grey-green.

White flowers appear in late summer to early autumn.
