Located in the Blue Mountains, Budawang Range and south of Braidwood in New South Wales.

It can grow to 5 metres. With bark smooth throughout, white or grey, shedding in long ribbons to shedding in short ribbons with green branchlets.

Adult leaves are alternate, lanceolate, falcate, acute, oblique or basally tapered, glossy, grey-green, thick, concolorous, 7–11 cm long, 1.2–2.5 mm wide.

White or cream flowers appear in summer in clusters of 7.

Distribution is Sporadic and scattered; mallee heath on sandy soils of limited drainage in elevated areas. associated with mallee and shrubland vegetation
