Erik started out within the Atlanta band scene with the band Scavenger in the late 1980s. He remained a staple of the Atlanta scene with various acts including Crybaby, Charly Quik, Stomping Ground, and Beltfed before forming Stereomud. He still resides in Atlanta, GA.
