Early life and education

Eric Anthony Ulrich was born and raised in Ozone Park, Queens. He attended P.S. 63Q (Old South), and Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Elementary School. After graduating from Cathedral Prep. Seminary High School, Eric became the first member of his family to earn a college degree. While studying political science at St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, Eric also met his current wife Yadira Moran of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The two were married on November 20, 2009.

Political career

In 2005, aged 20, Ulrich ran for a Republican District Leader post, but lost by a mere 124 votes.
