History
Equinox opened its first location at 76th and Amsterdam Avenue on September 23, 1991. Since then the company has continued to open several new locations each year. In 2006, The Related Group purchased the company from North Castle Partners And JW Childs Associates, who purchased it from its original owner, The Erricos. In 2008, Equinox brought PURE Yoga to The United States from Asia, in cooperation with PURE International.Brands
