Gameplay

Emergency Heroes is focused on driving. The vehicles are fundamental to game play, and every mission requires a range of driving abilities provided by that vehicle. For example, the EMT is centered around making jumps, while police perform much chasing. Players drive 16 different variations of next-generation rescue vehicles as a police officer, firefighter or EMT and navigate through the streets of San Alto, keeping citizens safe along the way. The game also features a two player mode for friends.

Story

Emergency heroes starts in the future in San Alto City. The city's inhabitants have discovered that the town emergency vehicles are not strong enough to take on emergencies. Therefore, an organization named the EHO created better vehicles. Zach Harper was one of the cadets, but was kicked out after an accident involving his friend, Sammy. The cadet program had been canceled due to the incident. General Walters, who has worked at the EHO for 40 years, decides to recall Zach, as Sammy had disappeared from the hospital and believes he is up to no good. Zach must stop Sammy and make the streets of San Alto safe again.

Reception

Emergency Heroes was panned by critics for its poor story, lack of polish, and the overly simple gameplay, even though the basic game worked properly. GameSpot
