El-Nahhas is noted for his skill; although he plays as a defender, he scored 8 goals for el-Ahly in the Egyptian League in the 2005-2006 season. He scored three of them against Al-Ittihad Al-Iskandary, a game which ended 6-0 for el-Ahly. He scored a skillful goal against Renacimiento FC
in CAF Champions League 2006
in a 4-0 win, and scored again in the Egyptian Cup
final against Al-Zamalek, a 3-0 victory for el-Ahly.
He netted the last decisive penalty shootout that gave Al-Ahly the title of African Super Cup 2007 against Tunisian side Etoile Sahel.
He is also famous for his good manners and trustworthiness in the field.
