(JETS) competitions. The teams have won numerous regional and state titles, and have also been ranked nationally . The teams were once coached by Physics teacher Matthew Hitchings, but are now led by Mathematics teacher and tennis coach Doug Uhls.
Academic Super Bowl
The school was also home to the 1997 state champions in Academic Super Bowl Social Studies with members Kyle Lindsey, Doug Reed, and James Gilley. Edgewood also features science, English, and math teams, as well as a fine arts club.Men's Soccer
Edgewood has been the home to several amazing men's soccer teams. Many incredible players have filtered through the program and have gone on to achieve greatness in their lives. The team has experienced a lot of success as of late. In 2009, the team brought home the latest conference championship after tying with Brown County for the top spot. The men's team is currently coached by former player Carl Salzmann. Former coaches include Matt Wilhoit, Ryan Combs, and Scott Prough.Women's Soccer
The Lady Mustangs have had a few great teams over the years, but they usually finish in the middle of the conference standings. The 2009 team included Megan Hardesty and Laura Luther who were two of the state's leading scorers. The duo combined for 56 goals and 20 assists.
