, the unorganized territory has a total area of 128.9 square miles (333.8 km²), of which, 128.8 square miles (333.5 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.4 km²) of it (0.11%) is water.

The territory consists of four townships, which are Reddington, Mt. Abram, Salem, and Freeman. Salem and Freeman were both incorporated as towns until 1945 and 1938, respectively.
