History

EADA was established in 1957 by Irene Vázquez and Arturo Alsina, originally as a consultancy and an institution for continuous training in business management and administration. Only in 1967 did EADA become an incorporated company, with the two founders, the professors and all the non-teaching staff becoming shareholders of the institution. The institution was then restructured into a non-profit organization

 in the 1980s through a foundation taking over the administration of the university.

Administration

EADA is run by Fundación EADA with the chief governing body being the Board of Trustees led by president David Parcerisas. The board is constituted of currently 14 people with different occupations, some of which are entrepreneurs, managers of associated companies, professionals or experts in manager training.

 in a building in the Aragó street. EADA also owns a dedicated Residential Training Center in Collbató by the Monserrat mountains and just outside the city of Barcelona which is used for the most intensive business trainings for the different programs EADA.
