2008 March train disaster

  • March 9, 2008 – A intercity bus from the company El Rápido Argentino collides with a Ferrobaires passenger train with 250 passengers on board at a railroad crossing on the outskirts of Dolores, on the Provincial Highway 63, killing 17, and injuring at least 25. The bus' driver disregarded the railroad crossing signals, which at the time of the accident were operating perfectly.
