, Nusrat's brother, Dildar had been a member of the party since its formation. Now he teach his shagird Yasar Hussain and his son's to play tabla. Dildar does not play the traditional tabla that can be seen in contemporary Hindustani classical music

 but instead plays an older style of ""jori style tabla"

" (Punjabi: pair) which is similar to any other modern tabla set, with the exception that the low pitch drum, called "Dhamma" is of wood and makes use of wheat four dough to weight the drum skin. ). Today, Dildar Hussain can sometimes be seen accompanying Tahir Qawwal. Tahir is vocallist of the qawwali group,"fana-fi-allah. Dildar hussain also sings in the group.
He is also seen singing and playing harmonium.
His health is declining because of smoking.
