The video of the track has been shot in the streets of New York and represents the night soundscape of her forthcoming album ‘Raat/Din’, the songs of night and day which are loosely woven around the timings of Hindustani ragas. The song thematically depicts night.
The new single will be released on 1 September which will be followed by ‘Paas Aao Na’. The entire album though will be released by the year end under the music label ‘Mint Music’. Also, since Bollywood predominates the music scenario and the music labels do not have enough monetary resources for a non-film album we have to find new ways to promote it."
