Dickens Hall was built before 1907 and was originally used by the Departments of Horticulture

 and Plant Pathology. Located north of the building were greenhouses that have since been demolished. These departments were relocated when Throckmorton Hall was completed. This building was named for Albert Dickens, who served the Department of Horticulture from 1899 to 1930.
