Richard A. "Dick" Zimmer (March 1, 1933 – April 19, 2010) was an American politician of the Democratic Party.
Zimmer served as a commissioner on Dayton, Ohio
's City Commission from 1978 to 1985, and from 1987 to 1996. Upon urging from the community to run in a general election again, he served a third term from 2002 to 2006. Prior to being elected to the Dayton City Commission, Zimmer served in the United States Navy
