, Franklin "Foggy" Nelson. His original purpose was to serve as a guide dog for the blind Matt Murdock.

Foggy loses ownership of Deuce in a poker game with Weasel of Deadpool fame. Deadpool decides that the Devil Dog would be a good companion for his roommate/prisoner, Blind Al. While Deuce loves Al unconditionally, Al tends to hate the dog.
