The team suffered through a mediocre first season, going 5-15. Aaron Bates led the Pros in scoring, at 20.0 ppg. Team owner Darryl Greene coached the team during the first season. Warren Woods will coach the team in 2006.

The Pros play home games at the Inkster Recreation Complex. One newspaper reported during the 2005 season that the team would be moving to Toledo, Ohio

for 2006, and after no updates on this, the IBL announced that the team would, in fact, be moving to Toledo for the 2007 season. The Pros will play four games on a west coast trip, and these will be their only games for the 2006 season.
