 (baritone), Del Brown (tenor), and Creadel "Red" Jones (bass) had one record release on Renee Records in 1960 that went nowhere. The lineup wavered between quintet and quartet. Manuel led the A-side "I Pledge My Love," and Goley the B-side "Flat Foot Charlie;" however, Goley is missing on the A-side.

. Thompson is the anchor of the group, with Robert "Squirrel" Lester being the only other original member. Sullivan previously sung with the Four Gents and later enjoyed a few releases with a family group produced by Marshall Thompson called the Classic Sullivans. Jones left the Chi-Lites once after their run of hits, then came back later, only to be dismissed.
