The show was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Festival in 2004 and 2005, the Just For Laughs festival and the Upright Citizens Brigade theater in 2006 and ran in Los Angeles from September 2004 to December 2004.
Co-wrote the 2001 feature film, Hollywood Palms, wrote and directed a short film, Glutton Falls and directed/choreographed "Bukowsical", a sell-out late night musical theater parody at the Sacred Fools Theater in Los Angeles, California. Cameron also directed the video "Fat Girl" for heavy metal band Steel Panther
as well as co-wrote the song "Girl From Oklahoma" on their 2009 debut Feel the Steel
and "Supersonic Sex Machine" on their 2011 follow-up Balls Out
. Cameron also co-wrote and directed a presentation pilot for Steel Panther.
Since late 1999, has made a living as voice over talent for radio and television commercials.
Dean Cameron developed and markets the Bill of Rights - Security Edition. A playing card sized piece of metal with the Bill of Rights
written on it. They are designed to set of metal detectors at airports and other places. The text at www.securityedition.com, explains it this way: "The Bill of Rights – Security Edition Card is The First Ten Amendments to the Constitution of the United States of America, printed on each side of a sturdy, playing-card-sized, pieces of metal. The cards have been redesigned with slightly rounded corners to make a card easier to carry in a wallet or pocket. The next time you travel, it’s possible that the person confiscating your mouthwash may not be familiar with the Bill of Rights."
