Deadly Cinema was awarded an NTTV Golden Television Award for "Best Entertainment Show" and a Texas Intercollegiate Press Association Award for "Best Television Production", both in 2005.

DVD release

The 3-disc DVD set includes the complete first and second seasons (with video commentary, bloopers, advertisements and the half-hour retrospective documentary "Fade to Pink: The Making of Deadly Cinema"). The DVD is currently available through MySpace.
