Gameplay

Choreography mode

Dance Dance Revolution will feature an all-new Choreography mode which uses the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk. In which you follow the on screen graphics to move the controllers in a certain way.

Multiplayer

Standard two-player multiplayer will return with the use of dance pads and choreography mode, which focuses on motion sensor input, and will support up to four players.

Characters

Character models will be significantly improved. Modeled more after the adult-sized characters in the main Dance Dance Revolution series instead of the childlike or distorted style seen in previous Wii DDR games. Rena, Dyna, Bridget, jun, NAOKI, U1, U.G., Ceja, Chordia, Root, Bossa, Nova, Hip, and Hop are the characters that have been confirmed through imagery to make an updated appearance in Dance Dance Revolution.
