In November 2005, GMA Network
established an agreement with ZOE Broadcasting, where in exchange for providing updated equipment to their facilities, GMA would be able to operate and program DZOE-TV. Upon the takeover by GMA, DZOE-TV became a translator
of DWDB-TV
, which began airing GMA's new network QTV (later renamed Q).
The simulcast would last until 2007, when DWDB-TV signed off in order to allow channel 27 to be used for future digital television trial broadcasts of DZBB-TV
. As a result, Q programming would remain on DZOE-TV until February 21, 2011, when the Q network signed off, and replaced by GMA News TV
on February 28.
